Anchored Village was born from our founder’s faith-driven response to the hardships she and other single parents faced throughout her 22 years in the United States Navy. Born from this deep understanding, our story is powerfully connected to the evolving needs of military families. Sharnell Green is deeply rooted in service and leadership. With over two decades in the U.S. Navy, she experienced the challenges of military life firsthand. Holding a MA in Organizational Leadership, she pairs her academic acumen with a genuine desire to support families like hers, ensuring every child at Anchored Village feels understood, valued, and equipped to thrive amidst change.
